The Citrus Detachment Marine Corp League is looking for new members. The group meets monthly at VFW Post 4252 on State Road 200 in Hernando. For information, call Ralph at 726-7836.
Citrus County veterans are needed to begin a new AMVETS post. This is an opportunity for veterans who do not now belong to any veterans organization to be in on the beginning of a new group. Interested veterans can call the Florida AMVETS Commander Bill Roberts at (352) 669-8490 or Gordon Levins at 795-7662.
VFW Post 4252, on State Road 200 (look for the helicopter out front) in Hernando is accepting eligible veterans for membership. The next meeting is 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Interested veterans are welcome or call Commander Bob Prive at 726-3339.
