ZEPHYRHILLS -- Zephyrhills police are searching for the man who robbed a Cumberland Farms store at 5046 Gall Blvd. on Sunday evening.
Capt. Richard Scudder said the man robbed the convenience store about 8:15 p.m.
Store employees described the man as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 140 pounds and 28 to 35 years old, with a slight build and brown hair.
He wore a white T-shirt and dark pants, and he appeared to be intoxicated, witnesses said.
Scudder said the man came into the store, jumped onto a counter and demanded that the clerk give him cigarettes.
When she refused, he yelled and threatened her, Scudder said.
The man then grabbed five cartons of Marlboro cigarettes and a 12-pack of Budweiser longneck beers.
He fled northeast behind the building, witnesses said.
Scudder said police have no suspects yet. "We haven't been able to come up with anything," he said. "But there is an ongoing investigation to see if we can find him."
