Tell us what Mom told youBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published April 16, 2001 Did you learn to cook at your mother's elbow? When making dinner in your own kitchen do you hear her voice guiding you while you sift, sear or simmer? In honor of Mother's Day, May 13, we want to know the best cooking advice your mother ever gave you. Share Mom's most indispensable advice in no more than 100 words (about the length of this item) and we may include it in an upcoming Taste section story. Deadline is April 20. Mail submissions to Mom Knows Best, c/o Taste, Newsfeatures Department, St. Petersburg Times, P.O. Box 1121, St. Petersburg, FL 33731, or e-mail them to floridian@sptimes.com. Put "Mom Knows Best" in the subject field. Include your name, where you live and a daytime phone number in case we need to reach you. © St. Petersburg Times. All rights reserved. |
