Northside Christian presents "Cinderella"

Northside Christian School will present Cinderella today through Saturday at the school, 7777 62nd Ave. N. An orchestra will accompany the performances.

Show times are 3:30 p.m. today and Saturday; and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Advance tickets are $3 for today's matinee and $5 for other shows, and are available by calling 541-7593, ext. 238. All shows are $6 at the door. Reserved "gold seating" can be purchased for $10.

PTA council to discuss parental involvement

Pinellas County Council of PTAs will hold a general meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the school district administration building, 301 Fourth St. SW. Doretha Jackson, parental support coordinator for Pinellas County Schools, will discuss parental involvement. The public is welcome to attend.

St. Petersburg High presents 'Sweet Charity'

St. Petersburg High School's theater department will present the musical Sweet Charity at 7:30 p.m. April 26 and 27 at the school, 2501 Fifth Ave. N. Tickets are $6 for adults and $5 for students and may be reserved by calling 893-1842.

Bear Creek Elementary holds dinner, auction

Bear Creek Elementary will host a spaghetti dinner and auction at 5:30 p.m. April 27 in the school cafeteria, 350 61st St. S. Proceeds will go toward an overhang to protect children from the sun during physical education classes.

Gift certificates will be auctioned and will include movie-dinner packages, weekend getaways, cable television service, pet grooming and supplies, and passes to area attractions. Themed gift baskets also will be auctioned with proceeds going to individual classrooms.

Children's artwork and crafts will be for sale and entertainment will be provided by fifth-grade classes.

Dinner is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under. The auction will start at 7 p.m. For information, call the school at 893-2332.

Shore Acres Elementary PTA holds spring auction

Shore Acres Elementary PTA is holding its second annual spring auction at 6:30 p.m. April 27. The auction will be in the media center, 1800 62nd Ave. NE. Proceeds will be used to purchase library books.

The adult-only event will include a live auction of donated items from businesses, parents, teachers and students. Tickets are $5.

Cross Bayou Elementary School holds carnival

Cross Bayou Elementary School's carnival is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 28 at the school, 6886 102nd Ave. N.

The public is invited for games, prizes, pony rides and food. For information, call the school at 547-7834.
