CRYSTAL RIVER -- Henry Holshouser, a former top manager with the city of Tallahassee Department of Public Works, has accepted an offer to become Crystal River's next public works director. Holshouser, 54, said he hopes to start May 1 at a salary of $49,000. If approved by the City Council, Holshouser will replace former Public Works Director David Locke, who recently took over as supervisor of maintenance for the Citrus County School District.
