Citrus briefsBy Times staff writers © St. Petersburg Times, published April 20, 2001 Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony SundayBEVERLY HILLS -- Congregation Beth Sholom will hold a Yom Hashoa Holocaust Remembrance Day at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the temple on the Civic Circle. The public is invited to share in this memorial, which will include a processional of Holocaust survivors who are members of Congregation Beth Sholom, a special candle commemorating the Righteous Gentiles who helped save the lives of countless adults and children from the Nazis, the recitation of the Holocaust Memorial Prayer with an English translation, and dramatic readings by officers of the congregation and its affiliates. Rabbi Zvi Ettinger will recite the Kaddish, the mourner's prayer, and the names of the concentration death camps will be noted. Additionally there will be participation of several members of the Christian clergy and others from the community. Big Brothers, Big Sisters needs desk, computerCRYSTAL RIVER -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Citrus County is excited to announce the addition of a VISTA volunteer to their staff.
