TODAY-APRIL 30: The exhibit of work by Pasco County high school art students, ArtBeat 2001, continues at Pasco Art Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. The paintings of Harry Farmlett are on exhibit at the Upstairs Gallery. Whimsical, one-of-a-kind teapots made by students in the center's pottery classes are also on display. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturdays.

TODAY-APRIL 30: Paintings by Beacon Woods East resident Darla Willhite are on exhibit at New Port Richey City Hall. The subject matter includes nature, gardens and portraiture.

TODAY-MAY 20: Rodgers and Hammerstein's award-winning musical Carousel continues at Show Palace Dinner Theatre, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. Shows are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and May 5, 12, and 19; 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 3 p.m. Sundays. Doors open two hours before each show for buffet and cash bar. TODAY-SUNDAY: Lillian Hellman's classic, The Little Foxes, continues at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Performances are at 8 p.m. today and Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students. Box office is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Saturday and an hour before each show. Call (727) 842-6777.

TODAY-APRIL 30: The Japanese ink paintings of Yolanda Mayhall and the Japanese calligraphy of Ted Mayhall will be on exhibit in the new Pasco County Government Center in Dade City. Viewing hours are 9 a.m to 5 p.m. weekdays.

SATURDAY: The West Pasco Historical Society will hold Ethnic Pasco Celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. at the center, 6431 Circle Blvd., New Port Richey. The program includes a video about Scotland, an oral history of Finland, choral singing of songs from Poland and dances from Greece.

SUNDAY: The Bay Area Saxophone Quartet will perform at 1 p.m. at Longleaf, a community off State Road 54 between Little Road and Gunn Highway. The program includes jazz and other musical styles. Admission is free.

SUNDAY: The Richey Concert Band will perform popular and Broadway tunes at 2:30 p.m. at the band shell in Sims Park. The program includes Close to You, Wonderland by Night, Hello, Dolly, Everything's Coming Up Roses and a Sousa march. Those who attend should bring chairs or blankets for sitting and a picnic lunch. The Optimist Club will have a concession stand in the area. Admission is free.

SUNDAY: The Underground Poets' Society will hold Millennium Cafe at the Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday, at 7 p.m. There will be poetry readings, music, open mike and refreshments. Admission is free.

MONDAY: Singers David and Donna Delonay-Weekley will perform at 8 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco, 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Admission is $2.

THURSDAY: Reservations for the Thursday Musicale's annual May Fling luncheon and presentation of skits must be made by noon Thursday. Tickets are $12. Call Doris Cerio at 938-9151. The luncheon will be at noon, May 3 at Spartan Manor.

THURSDAY: The St. Petersburg Junior College Workshop will present Opera a la Carte: Highlights from Great Operas at 7:30 p.m. at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center, 324 Pine St. Highlights from The Magic Flute, Faust, Carmen, Hansel and Gretel and Rigoletto will be performed by 13 singers in full costume with piano accompaniment. APRIL 30: Actors now performing in the Show Palace Dinner Theatre's presentation of Carousel will present Actors' Night Off, Singers' Night On! at 8 p.m. at the Palace, 16128 U.S. 19, Hudson. The actors will sing jazz, popular and other tunes not heard in Broadway musicals. The show benefits the Pasco Arts Council Youth OutReach Program for performing arts. Admission is $15. Curtain calls

TODAY-SATURDAY: Stage West Community Playhouse will hold auditions for The Rocky Horror Show at 7 p.m. today and 1 p.m. Saturday at the theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Those who audition must be 18 or older and bring sheet music. Accompanist will be provided. Parts are available for three females, seven males and 4-6 additional chorus members.
