    Watering restrictions

    Unincorporated Pinellas County and Belleair Beach, Belleair Bluffs, Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Largo, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor and Seminole

    IRRIGATION USING COUNTY WATER: Addresses ending in an EVEN number or letters A-M can water on TUESDAY only. Addresses ending in an ODD number or letters N-Z or locations with no address can water on SUNDAY only. Watering times are 12:01 a.m. to 8 a.m. or 6 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. NO WATERING is allowed between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

    IRRIGATION USING WELLS, LAKES, PONDS: Addresses ending in an EVEN number or letters A-M can water on TUESDAY only. Addresses ending in an ODD number or letters N-Z or locations with no address can water on SUNDAY only. Watering times are 12:01 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. NO WATERING is allowed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

    NEW LAWNS: New lawns of permanent grass may be watered up to 60 days after installation. Irrigation is restricted to authorized hours and isolated to newly planted areas. Fifty percent of the area being watered must be new.

    NEW LANDSCAPING: New plants, shrubs and trees may be watered for a 60-day establishment period starting the day the plants are installed. Irrigation is restricted to authorized house and isolated to the new plants.

    VEHICLES: Cars, boats and recreational vehicles can be washed any day at any time. A shut-off nozzle or other water-efficient device must be used.

    RECLAIMED WATER or industry-approved low-volume irrigation devices are not restricted to specific watering days or times.

    HAND WATERING of trees, shrubs, flower and vegetable gardens is allowed as needed. A shut-off nuzzle or other water-efficient device must be used. Hand watering of lawns is allowed only on designated days and hours. Washing of windows, buildings and mobile homes is not specifically prohibited. Low-volume methods should be used.

    LAWN CHEMICALS can be watered in when accompanied by the manufacturer's label recommendations. Regularly designated irrigation days should be used when possible for chemical applications.

    SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS: Washing of impervious surfaces is prohibited.

    IN GENERAL: Any unnecessary use of water is prohibited.

    Clearwater

    IRRIGATION USING CITY WATER: Addresses ending in EVEN numbers or letters A-M can water on TUESDAY only. Addresses ending in ODD numbers or letters N-Z or locations with no address can water on SUNDAY only. NO WATERING is permitted between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on watering days.

    IRRIGATION USING WELLS, LAKES OR PONDS: Addresses ending in EVEN numbers of letters A-M can water on TUESDAY only. Addresses ending in ODD numbers of letters N-Z or locations with no address may water on SUNDAY only. NO WATERING is permitted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on watering days.

    NEW LAWNS: Addresses ending in EVEN numbers or letters A-M can water only on even-numbered calendar days for a period limited to 30 days. Addresses ending in ODD numbers or letters N-Z or locations with no address may water on odd calendar days for a period limited to 30 days. Watering is allowed only during authorized times. No watering is permitted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for irrigation using wells, lakes or ponds. No water is permitted between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for irrigation using city water. A hand-held hose with automatic shut-off may be used to water new sod that accounts for 50 percent or less of the total lawn area. A sodded area that is more than 50 percent of the total area may be watered by an in-ground irrigation system.

    NEW LANDSCAPING: New trees, shrubs and plants may be watered daily if done by hand with a hand-held hose with an automatic shut-off. No watering is permitted between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

    RECLAIMED WATER: Reclaimed water may be used daily on existing lawns and landscaping but not between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

    CARS may be washed on any day at any time. A shut-off nozzle or other water-efficient device must be used.

    HAND-WATERING of trees, shrubs and flower and vegetable gardens is allowed as needed. A shutoff nozzle of other water-efficient device must be used. Hand watering of lawns is restricted to authorized days and hours.

    INSECTICIDES, FUNGICIDES and herbicides may be watered in on an unauthorized day, but watering must be limited to the minimum necessary. Regular designated watering days and hours should be used when possible. Fertilizers should be watered on authorized days during restricted hours.

    Dunedin

    WATERING OF ESTABLISHED LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING: Addresses ending in EVEN numbers may water on TUESDAYS only. Addresses ending in ODD numbers or locations with no address may water on FRIDAYS only. Watering hours for in-ground sprinkling systems are from midnight to 10 a.m. only. Watering hours for manual equipment (hose-end sprinklers) are from midnight to 10 a.m. and/or 4 p.m. to midnight. NO WATERING is permitted on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays or Sundays.

    CLEANING OF STREETS, sidewalks, driveways or other impervious areas is prohibited. Outside pressure cleaning is restricted to low-volume methods. CARS can be washing any time with a hand-held hose with a shut-off device. Rinsing boats and flushing boat engines is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes a day for each boat.

    NEW LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING may be watered up to 30 days after installation and is not restricted in hours or days but should be limited to the authorized hours when possible.

    CHEMICALS: Watering in of herbicides, fungicides or insecticides is not restricted where required by the manufacturer or state, federal of local law, but must be limited to the minimum necessary. The watering in of fertilizers is prohibited except on authorized watering days and times.

    OTHER USES: The use of pressure cleaning equipment to wash buildings, mobile homes and other stationary objects is not restricted.

    Belleair

    WATERING OF ESTABLISHED LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING: Addresses ending in 0 and 1 can water on Monday only. Addresses ending in 2 and 3 can water on Tuesday only. Addresses ending in 4 and 5 can water on Wednesday only. Addresses ending in 6 and 7 can water on Thursday only. Addresses ending in 8 and 9 can water on Friday only. Irrigation is prohibited during the hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Residents are not permitted to water lawns and landscaping on Saturday and Sunday unless special permission has been given by the Department of Public Works, Water Division.

    NEW LAWNS and landscaping can be watered for the first 30 days and is not restricted to specified days of the week. However, watering is prohibited between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and should be limited to the minimum amount required. Residents should notify the Department of Public Works, Water Division, regarding their intent to water newly installed landscaping to avoid possible enforcement action.

    Tarpon Springs

    WATERING EXISTING LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING: Addresses ending in EVEN numbers may water on TUESDAYS only. Addresses ending in ODD numbers may water on SUNDAYS only. Watering hours are 12:01 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. No watering is permitted between the hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Water use is limited to no more than three-fourths of an inch on each irrigation zone.

    NEW LAWNS AND LANDSCAPING: The establishment period for new lawns is 30 days. During that time, sod, seed, plugs and sprigs may only be watered every other day. Properties with an even address may water only on even-numbered calendar days, and properties with an odd address or without a physical address may water only on odd-numbered calendar days.

    HAND WATERING: Trees, shrubs, flower beds and vegetable gardens may be watered as needed any day during authorized hours. A shut-off nozzle or other water-efficient device must be used. Hand watering of lawns is restricted to authorized days and hours.

    CARS, PRESSURE WASHING: Car and pressure washing may be done as needed on any day at any time. A shut-off nozzle or other water-efficient device must be used.

    CHEMICAL APPLICATIONS: Insecticides, fungicides and herbicides may be watered on the day the application was made but must be within authorized hours and limited to the minimum. The lawn must display the proper identifier for the chemical application. Fertilizers should be watered during authorized watering days and hours.

    RECLAIMED WATER: Voluntary conservation of reclaimed water is requested. No watering between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
