Focus on volunteers

The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast will offer orientation classes for people interested in volunteering from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hospice's community service center, 5639 49th St. N, St. Petersburg, and 6-9 p.m. May 8 at the main community service center, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo. For information, call Kathy Roble at 586-4432.

Linking Lifetimes, a Gulf Coast Community Care program, is looking for volunteers 35 and older who want to spend time with children in need of adult support. A volunteer spends up to four hours with one child age 9-13. For information, call the organization at 538-7460.

Creative Clay Cultural Arts, 333 First St. NE, St. Petersburg, needs volunteers for its gift shop on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For information, call 825-0515.
