INGLIS -- A Crystal River woman died Monday evening when she lost control of her car and crashed north of Inglis, according to police reports. Carol S. Summer food service available

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Citrus County in Lecanto will sponsor a Summer Food Service Program in May, June, July and August. This program is similar to the National School Lunch Program because it provides nutritionally balanced meals to needy children -- regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, handicap, age, or national origin -- during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. All children 18 and younger, both enrolled and not enrolled at open sites, are eligible for meals at no charge. Summer feeding sites at schools provide meals to all children in the area in addition to those enrolled in summer school. The following sites will participate in the food program: the Crystal River Unit, 405 SE Seventh Ave., Crystal River, 563-2395, and the Inverness Unit, 1545 Forest Drive, Inverness, 341-2507.
