Ninth grade students at Citrus High School were asked: "Aside from the excitement and pleasure of learning to drive, what responsibilities go with the privilege?"

LAURA BURNS, 15 "It's important to know what is right and wrong and make the right choices"

SARAH BUSHMAN, 14 "There's the responsibility of watching out for others on the road, pedestrians. If there's someone else in the car, you feel you have to be more responsible so you don't cause an accident."

BRETT TOBIN, 14 "You have to be cautious of other people's actions and not just your own."

MATT MCLAUGHLIN, 15 "In order to drive responsibly, you must be a defensive driver and on the lookout for reckless drivers."
