Who's Hot... Who's NotBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published April 27, 2000 Who's Hot: Not only did Hal Sutton win for the second time in a month, but his victory at the Greater Greensboro Classic was his third consecutive top-10 finish and his fourth in his past five tournaments. Sutton, who joined Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson as the only players to win multiple tournaments this year, has seven top 10s this year, tying him with Woods and Jesper Parnevik this season. * * *Who's Not: Nobody was surprised to see Lanny Wadkins win his first senior start back in February at the ACE Group Classic in Naples. But it is shocking what the 50-year-old "rookie" has accomplished since. Wadkins has no top 20 finishes in six subsequent tournaments and has shot just three rounds in the 60s. * * * Quotable: "I was Tin Cup. I just made half swings after that. I played awful as well." -- Phil Tataurangi, who hit three balls out of bounds off the tee during the first round of last week's Greater Greensboro Classic on his way to an 11 at the par-5 second hole and a 92 for the round.
