ISLAND MUSIC: The Sunsets at Pier 60 Festival will present its second annual Sunsets Beach Fest, a three-day Island Music Celebration featuring Latin, reggae and Caribbean sounds from 6 to 11 p.m. tonight, 3 to 11 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Pier 60, Clearwater Beach. There will be street performers, food from local restaurants and artists. Tonight, The Landsharks will perform a tribute to Jimmy Buffet; Saturday, Gumbi Ortiz & the Latino Projekt and Tito Puente Jr. will perform; Sunday, enjoy Deja and Spy vs. Spy. Free.

BLUES AND GOSPEL: Want to help the homeless and listen to some tasty bluegrass, rap, Southern, contemporary and rock gospel sounds? Attend the Fun 'n Sun Jamboree 2001, a day of family entertainment benefitting the Homeless Emergency Project and the Clearwater Homeless Intervention Project from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. The event will feature 23 acts including artists Kirk Talley and Keith Holladay and groups Tender Heart, Higher Ground, The Skinny and Gypsy Wind. Plus, there will be performances by several youth and drama groups. Other entertainment will include arts and crafts, face painting, games, a moon walk, prizes, mimes and rides. Gus Lloyd of WBVM-FM 90.5 will host. The event is free. All proceeds from concessions and T-shirt sales will benefit the homeless. For information, call (727) 442-9041.

CHILDREN'S FUNDRAISER: For $100 donation, a family of five can participate in the "Be a Kid for Devereux Kids" fundraiser from 6 p.m. to midnight tonight at Celebration Station, 24546 U.S. 19 N, Clearwater. The family fun night is hosted by the Pinellas County Medical Society to raise money for Devereux Kids, a non-profit organization established to help prevent child abuse and neglect.
