The Westshore II at Grey Oaks in Tarpon Springs, by Marc Rutenberg Homes, was the grand overall award winner in the 2001 Suncoast Parade of Homes sponsored by the Contractors & Builders Association of Pinellas.

Another Marc Rutenberg home, the Islander III at Grey Oaks, won the outdoor living award for single-family homes.

In the multifamily category, the grand overall winner was Key West at the Villages in North Redington Beach by CFS Investments. The outdoor living award in that category went to the Merano at Marquesa by Paul J. Skipper/Treasure Island Development Corp.

The Parade of Homes is a two-week showcase of new construction sponsored by the builders' association. Out-of-town judges evaluate the homes on a variety of criteria, including floor plan, quality of workmanship, finishes and livability.
