Lawyer seminars highlight Law WeekBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published April 29, 2001 INVERNESS -- Citrus County's fourth-annual Law Week begins Monday. Here are some highlights: People's Law Academy, 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Historic Citrus County Courthouse. Local lawyers will conduct seminars on topics such as real estate, probate and family law. Admission is free. A three-member panel of the 5th District Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments on two pending cases Thursday at the Historic Citrus County Courthouse. Area high school students will attend. The keynote speaker will be Kathleen Kearney, secretary of the Florida Department of Children and Families. Kearney will speak at a noon luncheon Thursday at Andre's of Citrus Hills.
