San Antonio crash victim identified as Tampa manBy MATTHEW WAITE © St. Petersburg Times, published April 29, 2001 SAN ANTONIO -- A Tampa man was killed in a one-car crash on Prospect Road in San Antonio on Friday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol troopers said. Troopers identified the man Saturday as Hoa May Le, 32, of 6603 N Manhattan Ave. in Tampa. The accident happened about 4:30 p.m. when a white 1997 Toyota 4Runner traveling east on Prospect came to where the road curves north toward State Road 52, officials said. Troopers said the 4Runner, driven by Le, left the roadway, went down a steep shoulder, plowed through a barbed wire fence, rolled and ejected Le and Khanh Kim Do, 29, of 5648 Eighth St. in Zephyrhills. Do was taken by helicopter to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa with serious injuries, troopers said. Two children -- troopers didn't provide full names for the girl, 8, and boy, 6 -- were also injured and flown by medical helicopter. It wasn't clear Sunday where they were taken, or what condition they were in. © 2006 • All Rights Reserved • Tampa Bay Times
