Inquiry focuses on woman's last hours

CLEARWATER -- Detectives are trying to reconstruct the last hours of Marion Cato's life, particularly her whereabouts on Thursday. Cato, 31, was found dead at 8:45 a.m. Friday outside the Rio Motel at 1488 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd. A man passing by discovered the body, which was partially buried. Police said the mother of three died from upper-body injuries. Detectives want to talk to people who might have seen Cato, who was blond and 4-foot-11, on Thursday.
