Pasta Bella closes to the public but still caters

ST. PETERSBURG -- Pasta Bella, a popular Central Avenue lunch spot, has closed to diners but its catering business continues. The restaurant is for sale or lease.

Pasta Bella, featuring meals created by mixing and matching fresh pastas, sauces and toppings, opened in February and closed just before Easter because of a family emergency.

Owner Janine Altobelli said that for now Pasta Bella's only business will be catering. She declined to elaborate.
