Aspiring women models ages 14 to 24 can visit a free, open call at Elite Model Look 2001 from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at University Mall in Tampa. Elite Model Management is visiting 30 U.S. cities, looking for its next generation of models. The open call will take place in the mall's center court. Donna Karan comes home
Clothing designer Donna Karan's new home collection, DKNYLife, had its local debut on Tuesday at Burdines stores in Countryside Mall, Clearwater, and WestShore Plaza, Tampa. The collection comes in three groupings: ''Fashion,'' with florals or cool graphics, exotic textures, hand-stitched quilts and vintage-inspired pillows; ''Essentials,'' solids and stripes with reversible duvets and microfiber blends in sheets and towels; and ''Pure,'' natural textures and neutral tones.
