One of the best-kept secrets on the beach, the Clearwater Sailing Center offers instruction and classes in a variety of dinghy classes, including the Olympic laser, sunfish, pram and day sailers. The center is open to the public year-round, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, during daylight savings. You also can launch your own non-motorized boat, 20 feet or less. Call (727) 462-6368.
