Picnic Island Park

As the name implies, this Tampa park, located 15 minutes from downtown, is a great place to get away for a box lunch. Located on the shore of Tampa Bay, the park has bathrooms, picnic shelters (reservations preferred on busy weekends), a fishing pier and boat launch. You'll find Picnic Island Park at 7200 Picnic Island Blvd. Call (813) 931-2121.
