Steve Yerrid's Kids Fishing Derby

The Chuck LaMar Celebrity Fishing Tournament, Nov. 10-12 at St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park, brings scores of famous athletes and anglers to town and raises thousands of dollars for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation. The big winners of this event are the hundreds of children who will participate in Steve Yerrid's Kids Fishing Derby the same weekend. Last year, the Tampa attorney donated $100,000 to get the derby off the ground. This year promises to be not only bigger but better. For information, call Bill Miller at (813) 935-3141.
