Tampa Bay, the state's largest estuary, depends on a variety of habitats for survival. Cypress swamps, mangrove forests, salt marshes and seagrass beds, all play a part in the web of life.
The Florida Aquarium, with its Wetlands, Coral Reefs and Bays and Beaches galleries, gives natives and newcomers an in-depth look at how the state's fragile ecosystems, including those in Tampa Bay, work together.
