The Madeira Beach Artificial Reef

Anglers and scuba divers know this and Pinellas County's nine other reefs well. The reef lies in 30 feet of water about 6 miles due west of Madeira Beach. Most of the material on the reef is widely scattered across the sand bottom but offers excellent fishing and diving opportunities for those who don't want to venture too far from shore.
