Champions of the environment, these dedicated eco-warriors track legislation and lobby public officials on behalf of those without a voice: birds, trees, manatees, etc.

But outdoors lovers will be pleased to know that the Suncoast Sierra Club sponsors regular outings, which include day hikes, overnight backpacking, and canoe and kayak trips. Most outings are geared for novices, and all are open to the public on a space available basis.
