Many people are intimidated by triathlons. The thought of swimming, biking and running, all in one event, can seem nearly impossible. Fear not. The Mad Dogs are here.
This St. Petersburg-based triathlon club specializes in helping first timers break into the sport. The Mad Dogs (their motto: fun-loving triathletes who train, race and howl together) boast more than 900 active members. Their membership has grown steadily with the sport's popularity.
