The Plunger

Local scuba divers are lucky to have a boat like The Plunger. Unlike Florida's East Coast, where it seems like every marina has a dive boat, Gulf Coast divers usually have to know somebody with a boat if they want to get out to a wreck or reef. Rod and Maria Brandenburg's 36-foot Delta, The Plunger, regularly runs to all the hot spots, weather permitting. From natural hard-bottom reefs to shallow wrecks, most of The Plunger's dive sites sit in 30 to 80 feet of water, well within range of most recreational divers. For reservations, call Dive Clearwater at (800) 875-3483 or check out diveclearwater.com.
