No. 1 San Antonio vs. no. 5 Dallas

By DARRELL FRY

© St. Petersburg Times, published May 5, 2001

SERIES: Spurs 3-1.

LAST TIME: Spurs won 91-79 on April 10.

REMEMBER THIS: Dallas has trouble matching up with the taller Spurs. David Robinson and Tim Duncan typically have big games against the Mavs, although the recent addition of Juwan Howard ought to help Dallas in that area.

KEY STAT: The Mavs are new to post-season play. The Spurs are going for their second NBA title in three years. You figure it out.

BEST GUESS: Spurs in five.
