THREE OF A KIND: The Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg, presents this popular series that combines dance, music and visual arts. Dancers from the St. Petersburg Festival Ballet and the Mirror Lake Ballet Academy perform two contemporary works: Night Waters, set to the music of Pink Floyd, and Venus in Furs, set to the music of the Velvet Underground. A brief introduction to the current exhibit, "H.A. Sigg: Recent Works," is provided by Patricia Buster, assistant curator of education. Free. Call 896-2667.

NEW VISIONS 2001: Alternative theater series features readings of plays by new and emerging playwrights at American Stage, 211 Third St. S, St. Petersburg. In Bill Levengood's Little Mary, performed at 7 p.m., a 15-year-old virgin claims she is carrying the seven unborn children of God, creating an international sensation. COLOR ME HUMAN INTERFAITH DINNER: Community members join for dinner and begin a dialogue to form community service project groups. The groups will work on issues that promote communication and solutions to social issues in the community. Hosted in partnership with National Conference for Community and Justice. Free. CHAMBER MUSIC: The Caladesi String Quartet performs chamber music with members of the Florida Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. in the Palladium Theater. Proceeds benefit the Habitat for Humanity. $5. Call 822-3590.

"A COUPLE OF BLAGUARDS": American Stage presents the Southeast premiere of the Frank and Malachy McCourt play. Two actors portray two brothers who spin gleeful yarns in a local pub and wax poetic on their mischief-making in the old country. Each brother takes on the roles of characters they encountered while growing up.
