THREE OF A KIND: The Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg, presents this popular series that combines dance, music and visual arts. Dancers from the St. Petersburg Festival Ballet and the Mirror Lake Ballet Academy perform two contemporary works: Night Waters, set to the music of Pink Floyd, and Venus in Furs, set to the music of the Velvet Underground. NEW VISIONS 2001: Alternative theater series features readings of plays by new and emerging playwrights at American Stage, 211 Third St. S, St. Petersburg. "A COUPLE OF BLAGUARDS": American Stage presents the Southeast premiere of the Frank and Malachy McCourt play. Two actors portray two brothers who spin gleeful yarns in a local pub and wax poetic on their mischief-making in the old country. Each brother takes on the roles of characters they encountered while growing up.
