Ronald W. Beck, 54, of 14228 Presteign Lane in Spring Hill was headed west on State Road 50 when, near Mariner Boulevard, he had a heart attack, and his car veered across the median and toward oncoming traffic. His car glanced off the front of a rock truck and plowed into a ditch on the south side of the road before going up an embankment and flying several hundred feet through the air, landing in some woods and hitting a small tree, said the Florida Highway Patrol and witnesses. Scott Robinson, 32, of 15451 Lancer Road in Spring Hill was spotted by deputies Monday in his car in a parking lot at 666 Broad St. in Brooksville. When deputies tried to surround him, he drove toward them, almost hitting one of their cars, a sheriff's report said. Authorities chased him until he ran his car through a fence at 626 Holley St., got out of the car and started running. Deputies arrested him near Decatur Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Robinson now faces charges of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest without violence, and fleeing in addition to the burglary warrants. He also is a suspect in several Pasco County burglaries, said sheriff's spokesman Lt. Joe Paez.
