CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PLAN AVAILABLE: Citrus Springs Middle School Advisory Enhancement Council continuous improvement plan for the 2001-2002 school year is available for public review.

PGE ENHANCEMENT REVIEW: The Pleasant Grove Elementary 2001-2002 school enhancement plan is available for review in the school office.

PGE ENHANCEMENT COUNCIL MEETING: Pleasant Grove Elementary School will hold an Advisory Enhancement Council meeting at 7 p.m. Monday.

FCE ENHANCEMENT REVIEW: Floral City Elementary's 2001-2001 continuous improvement plan is available for review in the school's front office.

IMS BAND PERFORMANCE: The Inverness Middle School band will hold its final concert of the year at 7 tonight in the cafeteria. The sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade bands and the jazz band will perform. Awards for outstanding musicianship will be given to students after the performances. Admission is free, although donations are greatly appreciated.

SCIENCE RESEARCH FAIR: The Academy of Environmental Science will hold its first annual Academy of Environmental Science Research Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 19. The event includes a $5 fish fry dinner from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Activities will include Salt River canoe tours, environmental activities and displays by academy students, Crystal River Mariculture Center, St. Martins Marsh Aquatic Preserve and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The Adopt-A-Redfish program from the Crystal River Mariculture Center will be held for 5 to 15-year-olds from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at which time the fish will be released into the Salt River. GETTING STARTED AT CFCC: Central Florida Community College will host a free one-hour session, "Getting Started," at 6:30 p.m. Monday in Building L2, Room 103 at the Citrus County Campus. There is no obligation or cost to attend. It will be an opportunity to gain information on such topics as financial aid resources and testing requirements.
