VALRICO -- A single-wide mobile home that was home to six people caught fire Wednesday night, leaving a 19-year-old woman injured and five others without a home.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said the fire started in a bedroom at 2316 Hamlin Court, Lot 11. The fire is under investigation, said fire Chief Cliff Hitchman, but the cause appears to be accidental. The trailer sustained $20,000 in damage.

One of the five women who lived in the mobile home suffered second-degree burns to 18 percent of her body and was flown to Tampa General Hospital. Her name was not available Wednesday night.

Second-degree burns are not as serious as third-degree, and the woman is expected to recover.

The Red Cross was helping the five other residents.
