Student, 15, accused of molesting boy, 9

ZEPHYRHILLS -- A 15-year-old Wesley Chapel High School student was arrested Thursday on charges of molesting a 9-year-old boy.

Daniel Russell Keller, 15, of Zephyrhills, is accused of having both oral sex and intercourse with the 9-year-old.

He was charged with one count of sexual battery on a child younger than 12.

Keller was taken to Pasco County juvenile detention center.

Because he is considered a juvenile, no further information was available.

High school boy charged in chair-throwing incident

NEW PORT RICHEY -- A 14-year-old boy threw a chair at his Gulf High School teacher, deputies reported.

On Tuesday morning, Gulf High teacher Shaun Wiemer asked Fransisco Mangual to sit outside of the classroom because Mangual was being disruptive, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Mangual picked up a chair and threw it at Wiemer, a deputy's report said. The chair struck the teacher's right leg. He was unhurt.

After his arrest, Mangual denied throwing the chair. He said Wiemer tripped over the chair.

Mangual of 2444 Bedford St., Holiday was charged with battery on a school official, then booked and released to his parents.
