Basketball
The Wharton Wildcats Basketball Camp is open for registration.
Four sessions will be held for athletes entering grades 3-9. Sessions I and II run from 2:30 to 6 p.m. on June 18-22 and June 25-29. Session III will be held July 9-13 and runs from 1 to 4:30 pm. Session IV, for students from eighth grade to 12, is on the same dates from 6 to 9 p.m.
The fee is $90 with each additional session costing $80. For more information, call coach Tommy Tonelli at (813) 631-4710 Ext. 234.
The 2001 Summer Golf Series will benefit patient services programs. Tournaments will be a two-person scramble format at Countryway Golf Club, 11111 Waters Ave., Tampa.
Tournaments are scheduled for June 14, July 12, Aug. 9 and Sept. 13.
