Pedestrian dies in hit-and-run accident in Tampa

TAMPA -- A Tampa man crossing the street near his home was killed early Monday morning by a hit-and-run driver in the Port of Tampa area, police said.
Donald Vincent Blythe, 38, of 2013 Davis St., Apt. C, died around 3:30 a.m. Monday when he was hit by a car on 22nd Street south of Adamo Drive. The car did not stop, and detectives said they are following several leads in the case.
