No splinters at Side Splitters

Willie Tyler and his wooden pal Lester have been traveling the country together for 40 years, playing comedy clubs and performing on TV programs such as The Tonight Show, Primetime Country and the Statler Brothers Show. They also have been in movies and McDonald's commercials.

The pair arrives in Tampa Tuesday for a series of performances at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa. Willie and Lester open at Side Splitters Tuesday and continue daily through May 27. Performances are at 8:30 p.m. Tue.-Thur., 8 and 10:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. and 8:30 Sun. Tickets are $5-$14, depending on the show.

There also is a children's show at 2 p.m. May 26. Tickets for that show are $6 children, $8 adults. For information or reservations, call Side Splitters at (813) 960-1197.
