Gorilla gets 'Snakebit'

Boy meets girl. Boy beds girl. But boy really would rather be with his best friend, whom the girl marries. Later, the threesome is united under possibly dire circumstances. That's the rough premise of Snakebit, a new play by David Marshall Grant that uses humor to get at a serious message about tolerance. Snakebit opens tonight and continues through June 3 at Gorilla Theatre, 4419 N Hubert Ave., Tampa. Show times: 7 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $17 adults, $14 students and seniors. Call (813) 879-2914. Web:
