Bar seeks applicants for examining boardBy Times staff writer © St. Petersburg Times, published May 19, 2000 The Florida Bar is seeking a non-lawyer to serve a three-year term on the Florida Board of Bar Examiners. The board administers the bar examination and ensures that applicants meet requirements and have the character, fitness, education and technical competence to be lawyers. A bachelor's degree is required for board members, and applicants should have education or work-related experience in educational testing, accounting, statistical analysis, medicine, psychology or related sciences.
