Last chance for appraisals

Today is the final appraisal day of the season at the Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa.

Doors open at 10 a.m., and appraisals begin at 10:30. Tickets will be sold until noon. The cost is $5 per item, a donation to the museum's restoration and renovation fund. Limit three items per person. If furniture is too large, bring a good photograph.

Appraisers will evaluate collectibles, American paintings and furniture and Americana; maps, silver and documents; paintings, prints and art; estate jewelry and 19th century European antiques.
