Memorial Day schedule

The following is a list of holiday closings and schedule changes for south Pinellas County for Monday, May 28.

Government

Federal offices: Closed.

City, county offices: Closed. City Hall in the Mall kiosk at Tyrone Square Mall will be open.

Mail: All U.S. post offices are closed.

Transportation

PSTA: Holiday schedule.

DART: Holiday schedule.

Public services

Banks: Closed.

Courts: Not in session.

Schools: Closed.

Libraries: Closed.

Garbage collection: Residential collections normally on Monday will be made on Tuesday; Tuesday residential collections will be made on Wednesday. All other collection days remain the same.

Other closings: Facilities closed include Bayfront Center box office, Times Arena at Bayfront Center and the Mahaffey Theater at Bayfront Center, Business Development Center, Coliseum Ballroom, Enoch Davis Center, Port of St. Petersburg administrative offices, recreation and adult centers, Sunken Gardens and the Sunshine Center.

Please note: On most city holidays, the city of St. Petersburg does not enforce parking regulations. During the Devil Rays game on May 28, posted parking regulations will be enforced between 3 and 8 p.m. from Dr. M.L. King (Ninth Street) S to 22nd Street S between Fifth Avenue S and Fifth Avenue N. For water or sewer emergencies, call the Public Utilities Department, 893-7261. For police, fire or medical emergencies, dial 911.
