LARGO -- City Commissioners agreed at Tuesday's work session to hire Alan Zimmet and his law firm to represent the city on a full-time basis as its city attorney. The firm, Tew, Zinober, Barnes, Zimmet & Unice, worked for Largo on an interim basis beginning Nov. 22 after the resignation of Jane Hayman. Commissioners will formally vote on the measure at the City Commission meeting on June 6. Zimmet is the city attorney for Safety Harbor and is the attorney for the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority.
