FLORAL CITY -- New Testament Christian School has six seniors in its graduating class: Elizabeth Mundrean, Kelly Hennessey, Melissa Hennessey, Brandi Watson, Amber Priest and Rebecca Frazier.

Elizabeth, 17, is the Class of 2001 valedictorian. She has a grade point average of 3.87. She has attended New Testament since she was 4 and in the kindergarten-4 class. She says there has been a "good one-to-one relationship" at the school. "It feels like a home. I'm going to miss the place," she said.

Elizabeth plans to attend Clearwater Christian College and is unsure of her major. She is the daughter of Dusan and Olimpia Mundrean.

Rebecca Frazier, 18, is the salutatorian and has a 3.80 grade point average. She has been at New Testament for three years and was homeschooled before that.

"I'm going to Berean Baptist College, Orange Park, Fla.," she said, "I'm going to be majoring in primary education, and I want to be able to help children. I want to make a difference. I want to get married and to go into the ministry with my husband."

Rebecca is the daughter of Michael and Paula Frazier.

Kelly and Melissa Hennessey are 18-year-old twins who have been at the school for three years. They came to New Testament from Tallahassee.

When they go off to college, they intend to go together, "I'm going to Pensacola Christian College for graphic design and photography," Kelly said. "I want to be a professional photographer for a magazine or something."

Melissa said: "I'm going to PCC with my sister and our friend Kori, and I want to major in home economics. And what I want to do with that major is be in catering and interior design. And I want to be a wife . . . after I graduate."

Kelly and Melissa are the daughters of Paul and Carol Hennessey.

Brandi Watson, 17, has been at New Testament since she was in the kindergarten-5 class. She said the students in a small school want to make their teachers proud, and she knows that discipline is done out of love.

Brandi works at a Spring Hill physical therapy office and hopes to continue there. She says, "I'm going to Pasco-Hernando Community College in the physical therapy assistant program."

Brandi is the daughter of Richard and Vickie Watson.

Amber Priest, 17, came to New Testament when she was in the seventh grade. Like the rest of the graduating class, Amber is headed to college. "I'm going to Pasco-Hernando Community College in their drafting program," she said.

Amber is the daughter of Judy and Wilbur Priest.
