In Elaine Anagnos' acrylic painting He Ain't Heavy, the frames and figures create a pleasant interplay of repeating forms in her open-ended narrative, its title taken from the motto of Boys Town. Anagnos is one of more than 80 artists exhibiting at Salt Creek Art Works Saturday through June 15 as part of the second annual Fairly Lilith Celebration of Women in Art in St. Petersburg. Others include Marjorie Dean Andruk, Patricia Chute, Boo Ehrsam, Cassandra Gordon-Harris, Allison Massari, Ruth Philipon, Florence Putterman and Pauline Salzman. Performing artists and writers will also stage programs noon to 5 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE. The Salt Creek show follows with a reception 7-9 p.m, and continues during hours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Salt Creek, at 1600 Fourth St. S, St. Petersburg, is free; regular admission is charged at the museum. Information: (727) 656-2346.
