15 candles for Coconuts
Coconuts Comedy Club on St. Pete Beach is throwing a 15th anniversary party for itself this weekend with shows today through Sunday by New Yorker Artie Fletcher. Fletcher has played the nationwide comedy circuit, warmed up audiences of TV shows such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Live With Regis and Kathie Lee, and has appeared in serious roles on television in Law & Order, 100 Center Street and NYPD Blue.
His shows are at 9:30 nightly. Tickets for all shows are $15 per person with a two-drink minimum.
Coconuts on St. Pete Beach is now Florida's longest-running comedy club. Since its 1986 beginning, the Coconuts franchise has expanded to four Caribbean locations, three in Europe and such U.S. cities as New York and Atlantic City. The St. Pete Beach venue is inside Howard Johnson's at 6100 Gulf Blvd. For reservations, call (727) 360-5653.
