The Florida Aquarium opens a new area dedicated to ocean predators Friday. The former Offshore Gallery, about a quarter of the aquarium's space, has been renovated into Sea Hunt, home to a giant Pacific octopus, anglerfish, cuttlefish, wolf eels, lionfish and other hunters, including more sharks.

About 200 new animals were added. The aquarium, at 701 Channelside Drive in Tampa, is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $13.75 for adults, $12.75 for seniors, $8.75 for children. Those younger than 3 are admitted free.
