BOOKSTORE CLOSES: The Book Swap closed its doors recently in the Publix shopping center near Stein Mart on N Dale Mabry Highway.
FAMILY RESTAURANT CLOSES: Bennigan's, an Irish family-style restaurant, closed recently on N Dale Mabry near the Publix shopping center.
PIZZA SHOP OPENING: Ledo Pizza is coming soon to the Shoppes of Carrollwood on N Dale Mabry. It will occupy the space where Forget About It Pizza used to be. It will offer subs, burgers, calzones, salads, and a variety of pizza and pasta.
DELI CLOSES: The Northdale Deli Market at 4920 Newkirk Drive closed recently. The convenience store offered Cuban sandwiches, Greek gyros and falafel, dinner platters such as eggplant parmigiana, couscous and stuffed Cornish hens.
TWO RESTAURANTS OPEN: Macaroni Grill opened May 24 on Bruce B. Downs Boulevard across from Richmond Place. Chili's Grill & Bar opened next door on May 21.
