CITRUS COUNTY ABUSE SHELTER ASSOCIATION (CASA) assists women and children who have been victims of abuse within the home. Many have left bad situations with nothing more than the clothing on their backs. CITRUS COUNTY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (Citrus County Health Department) 120 Montgomery St. provides support for families. They offer support groups for both children and parents as well as after-school tutoring and education for parents. They have a large library of books and videotapes. There is no charge for services. Needed: school supplies, baby furniture, children's clothes, clothes for large women, strollers, play pens, and volunteers. Call 344-1001.

CITRUS UNITED BASKET 210 N Apopka, provides clothes and emergency food boxes for needy families. Needed: canned goods, cereals, bread and dry food products, diapers, clothing, furniture, cribs, lamps, dishes, pots and pans, linens, drapes, cash, sheets and volunteers. Call 344-2242.
