CLEARWATER -- Investigators had not determined Tuesday what started a $2.5-million blaze early Monday at an air-conditioning and refrigeration company warehouse.

Clearwater Deputy Fire Chief Charlie Flowers said investigators have submitted substances taken from H.B. Adams Distributors Inc. to a laboratory. The analyses are expected to take several days to complete.

No one was injured in the fire at the business at 2050 Palmetto St. near the Clearwater Airpark. The 4 a.m. blaze destroyed warehouse inventory and two trucks.
