© St. Petersburg Times, Flowers being damaged at Spring Hill CemeterySPRING HILL -- Officials don't know why, but someone has been vandalizing flowers at the Spring Hill Cemetery near the intersection of Fort Dade Avenue and Citrus Way. Sometime between May 14 and Tuesday, sheriff's officials say someone went to different graves and burned 15 plastic flowers. No damage was done to the actual headstones. Police have no suspects, a report said. Officials search for man who exposed himselfNOBLETON -- Authorities are looking for a man who was seen fondling himself near a Nobleton boat ramp and park. According to Hernando County sheriff's reports, the man was masturbating at the Lake Townsend boat ramp, 28011 Lake Lindsey Road, about two weeks ago. A witness said he did not initially report the incident, but called deputies Tuesday when he saw the man return to the area in a dark green sport utility vehicle and park near a children's play area. The flasher left when he noticed the other man trying to write down his license plate number. The man is described as being white, between 30 and 35 years old, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with short hair. Youths charged in theft of engine from homeBROOKSVILLE -- Two boys face burglary and grand theft charges after sheriff's investigators say they broke into a home and stole an engine. The boys, ages 12 and 16, were arrested Sunday and later released to their parents. According to reports, they entered 7351 WPA Road on Sunday through an unlocked door and then took a small Briggs and Stratton engine, generally used to power outdoor equipment, worth about $600.
